Everything you need to know

Rates and availability? Cancellation policy? Tattoo Preparation? It’s all here!

Booking Information

  • Machine tattoos are priced at a sliding scale of $100-120 an hour. You will be given an estimate as to how long the project will take so you can prepare for total costs. (Ex. 3-4” tattoos average 1.5-2.5 hours with machine. This varies depending on the subject matter/client)

Handpoke tattoos take longer and, therefore, are priced at a flat rate upon booking as opposed to hourly. The average 3-4” handpoke tattoo is usually quoted at $200-280

My minimum for custom projects, machine or handpoked, is $100. I will always do my best to accommodate your budget!

A non-refundable $55 deposit is required to book an appointment. $5 goes towards transaction fees, and the rest is deducted from your total on the day of your appointment

Hard Easy Tattoo primarily accepts cash payments but will also accept cards, PayPal, ApplePay, and Venmo. Keep in mind non-cash payments are charged an additional 10.3% in sales tax and $3 for transaction fees

  • Hard Easy Tattoo has open time slots for 11 am or 2 pm on Mon, Tues, and Fri. Saturday at 11 am and Sunday at noon. The shop is closed Wed/Thurs

Appointments are normally booked one month ahead of time. If the booking form link is inactive, this means books are closed

  • You may submit a booking form, and I will email you a response within a week with the next steps

Policies

  • Please arrive wearing a mask. K/N95 or other respirators are required upon arrival at Hard Easy Tattoo

Wearing a mask is not only basic community care, but it also opposes fascism and supports disability justice, intersectional movements, and universal healthcare, all while protecting you and your community's long-term health. Let’s keep spaces safe for everyone

You can find quality masks in bulk here, at your local Mask Bloc, or at most hardware stores!

  • If you need to reschedule your appointment and want to ensure your deposit does not expire, you must do so before the scheduled appointment time. If your appointment time passes, your deposit will expire, and you will need to book a new appointment. The original deposit will no longer go towards your tattoo

  • If you need to cancel your appointment, your deposit will not be refunded. If you are late or do not show up for your appointment and have not given any notice, you will be given a 15-minute grace period before I cancel the appointment, and you will not be booked again. You must give notice if you think you will be more than 15 minutes late to your appointment!

  • I do my best to provide every person with the most comfortable and safe tattoo experience possible. I will always accommodate your needs to the best of my ability.

I will move the stencil as often as you need me to. This is your tattoo, and you can take all the time you need

Your comfort is my priority. You may take as many breaks as you need. You are also allowed to leave at any time. There is no pressure to finish the tattoo

Please feel free to vocalize your needs at any time during your session or ask as many questions as you need to

F.A.Q

    • Eating a hearty meal 30-60 minutes before your appointment and staying well hydrated can reduce tattoo pain significantly

    • Wear clothing that allows easy access to the area you’re getting tattooed. Example: Button-down shirts are great for sternum tattoos or even back tattoos if worn backward. Please remember there’s a risk of getting ink on your clothes!

    • Be sure to fill out a consent form 24-48 hours prior to your appointment

    • Sunglasses, noise-canceling headphones, and plushies are great for reducing overstimulation. However, the overhead lights in the studio can be dimmed

    • We are working closely, so I ask that you please arrive showered with clean clothes

    • Arrive wearing a quality mask

  • The studio is located in a private room within The Barber Collective at the Tacoma Armory (1001 S Yakima Ave, Suite 7A). Enter through the left side of the building on Nollmeyer St and find “TBC” on the directory to get buzzed in. We are towards the middle of the hallway, just past the bathrooms. APPOINTMENT ONLY. NO WALK-INS

Please note this space is rather small and cannot accommodate more than three people (including your artist)

    • The left side of the building on Nollmeyer St is wheelchair accessible

    • The studio itself can accommodate one individual using a wheelchair and myself. Guests are welcome to wait in the lobby or in the chairs just outside the studio door

    • The tattoo bed is hydraulic and can be lowered for easy access to get on/off. It also has a hydraulic backrest that can incline/decline. The base of it is metal, and the weight capacity is 700lbs

    • There are bolsters and pillows of many shapes and sizes used for extra support

    • The studio has dimmable lights

    • Stim toys and noise-canceling headphones can be provided to reduce overstimulation

    • The are no windows for air flow in the studio, however, I have a quality air purifier and fans circulating at all times

  • At this time, the following placements will not be tattooed:

    • Nipples, genitalia, crotch, breasts, glutes, armpits, feet or palms

    • Anywhere from the chest and above for first time clients

  • At this time, I will only tattoo my original art (custom or flash). I will not tattoo an exact copy of someone else’s art, whether another tattoo artist’s work or an illustration. You can reference someone else’s art, but I will always take my spin on it. I also make exceptions for Adventure Time designs!

Symbols or subject matter that can be interpreted as racist, culturally appropriative, antisemitic, etc. will not be tattooed at Hard Easy

  • Custom tattoos can look like a brand new design made just for you or a variation of a specific flash design

You will receive an email mock-up of your custom design the day or evening before your appointment to confirm that it meets your vision! We can always make any adjustments you see fit

  • I have curated an illustrative and abstract style unique to me as an artist. Everything I make has my personalized twist. I do not tattoo American traditional, hyper-realism, fine line, or other popular styles. What you see in my gallery is what I specialize in!

  • Sorry, I only use black ink and grey washes (watered down black ink)
